What future updates should include

A reviewed update should identify the item and exact version, old and new estimates, percentage change, observation date, and evidence for the revision. A value without a prior comparable estimate has no meaningful percentage change.

Update policy

Every meaningful value change should be traceable and easy to understand.

What gets recorded

A proper update identifies the exact item version, the previous estimate, the new estimate, the review date and a short reason. If a demand or trend label changes, that should be recorded separately instead of being hidden inside a value edit.

What does not count as an update

Formatting changes, artwork changes and calculator design improvements do not imply that market values were reviewed. The site should never change a “last reviewed” date simply to make data look fresh.
